I am delighted to introduce to you our new Director of Christian Education. Chad is not a stranger to some of you. Chad and his wife, Laurie, were members here from 2005 to 2009, during which time they both served in many ways. There now live here in the village with their son, William.
Chad comes to us with a variety of experiences that impact his abilities in positive ways. he says, "I believe that Christian Education and Youth work should be geared for ministry to the whole person and should be engaged not only in the building of Christian character, knowledge and spiritual practice, but also on imparting to the young and not so young a desire to impact the world around them in positive ways as taught us through the life and ministry of Jesus Christ." We have exciting times ahead of us. Join with us as we greet our newest member of the ministry team here at First congregational UCC of Spencerport. And plan to be a part of the work education and fellowship in the months to come. On January 16, we have a remarkable opportunity! It is always remarkable to me that we can vote in this nation. Christmas program and party December 12th
Something a little different is happening on December 12! During our time of worship, the choir and our youth and children are joining together to present the program, “Let’s Go Home for Christmas!” Then, we’ll go downstairs to share in an all-church party in the Fellowship Hall with a Cookie Walk companioning that time. Don’t miss this great day! The deadline for input to the January 2011 Newsletter is Sunday, December 12, 2010.
