Although we celebrate times that are holy during the whole year, there is only one week that is called Holy Week. It is the week that begins with Palm Sunday and leads up to Easter. There are special times of worship and celebration here at First Congregational Church that we encourage you to be a part of.
Palm Sunday will be April 9 – our worship will include the tradition of the Children’s Procession with palms and singing. And following that worship, there will be an Easter egg hunt sponsored by the Board of Christian Education for our children.
Maundy Thursday will be April 13 – we will gather in the Fellowship Hall for a party and worship. We’re inviting those who attend to bring a dish to share. And the worship will include the celebration of the Lord’s Supper.
Good Friday will be April 14 – this year there will be no gathering of the churches that are a part of Spencerport Ecumenical Ministries. But we will gather for a meal and then a time of reflection and remembrance in the chapel.
