ANNUAL MEETING
January 18 The Annual Meeting of the First Congregational Church UCC of Spencerport will be held immediately following worship on January 18, 2015. The purpose of the meeting will be to review the annual reports of the officers and boards of the church, to review and approve the 2015 budget, and to approve the slate of officers and boards for 2015. CHRISTMAS EVE WORSHIP

I will be making a bank deposit on Monday, December 29. If you want any donations/ contributions included on your 2014 statement, they need to be in the church office or collection plate by Sunday, December 28. Please remember if mailing, to mail early due to the holiday season. Any monies received after that date will be entered under 2015. CHRISTMAS PARTY WITH SPECIAL MUSIC/COOKIE WALK Sunday, December 14 - after worship We’ve celebrated Christmas several ways as a congregation the past few years. This year we’re trying something new again. On December 14 immediately following worship we are all invited to the Fellowship Hall to share goodies and the Cookie Walk AND there will be some folks who will share their talents with us. We’ll end the time together with singing some of the well-loved carols. You won’t want to miss our party this year. Plan now to stay following worship for the fun. Spencerport Food Shelf
The current food need are: stew/hash, canned meats, rice, soup, pudding/jello, crackers, tomato products, canned pasta, hot cereal, gravy and stuffing. WOMEN'S GUILD
Christmas Dinner All women are invited to attend our annual Christmas dinner on Tuesday, December 2 at 6:00 pm at the Union Street Eatery (2139 N. Union Street, Spencerport). We will be choosing off the menu. Please bring a White Elephant gift - wrapped - no tags. (A White Elephant gift is something you have in your house you can live without. If you purchase an item, please limit the cost to $5.) A sign up sheet is posted in the Fellowship Hall (deadline November 30). If you would like a ride, please indicate that on the sign up sheet next to your name. Christmas Cookie Walk We will be having our annual Cookie Walk on December 14 following worship. Donations of homemade Christmas cookies or decorative purchased cookies are needed. There is a sign up sheet in the Fellowship Hall. Next Meeting We will not be meeting in January or February. BLUE CHRISTMAS MEDITATION December 4th - 7:00 pm – Chapel Once again this year there will be a time for worship and meditation for those who are grieving or in pain. Everyone is invited to this quiet time of worship on December 4th at 7:00 in the chapel. Incorporating silence, music and scripture, this candle-light worship will help us to contemplate peace and comfort that comes from our God. |
