SALEM SOUP KITCHEN
Needed: 200 - Sturdy Wash/Face Cloths As we begin thinking of Christmas in our own families, so do we at the Salem Soup Kitchen think of gifts for our clients. It has been tradition to give a bag of personnel care items at the Christmas dinner. Once again, our congregation has been included. Our donation to the bags will be "STURDY WASH/FACE CLOTHS." Our goal is to collect 200 on or before December 1. Please try to help us reach our goal. Thank you everyone for your continued support of the Food Shelf. The current food needs are: turkey gravy (cans or jars), turkey stuffing, cranberry sauce, meats (corned beef, hash, beef stew) assorted vegetables (no green beans or corn), crackers, boxed mashed potatoes, toilet paper, paper towels, and kleenix. The Food Shelf gives a Thanksgiving dinner to all its clients. Anyone who would like to donate a turkey, the drop-off date is Saturday, November 23rd from 9-9:30 am at the Food Shelf, behind Lamont Trophy Shop in TOPS Plaza-Spencerport. If you'd like to donate, but can't drop it off, please call Nancy Wilcox at 391-3082, and she will take it for you. Our community Food Shelf is a non-profit organization and is always in need of cash donations as well as food donations. We donate food and gift cards to clients and at times, we need to buy food to "stock the cupboards." We also buy pies to complete the Thanksgiving dinner. If you are interested in making a monetary donation, please make checks payable to the Spencerport Ecumenical Food Shelf and either send it to their treasurer, Dick Gallagher, at 425 Ogden Parma TL Rd. Spencerport, NY 14559 or see Nancy Wilcox at church, and she will forward it to the organization. CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS FOR SOLDIERS
