Christmas at Salem

Our congregation for many years has contributed items for the Christmas bags to be handed out at the Christmas dinner for the Salem Nutrition Center “Soup Kitchen." This year we are asking for packages of CHICKEN FLAVORED RAMEN NOODLES. Yes, Ramen Noodles. We need to have them by Sunday November 3. There will be a basket in the Fellowship Hall labeled Salem. We thank you in advance for your generosity.

Neighbors in Need Offering

NEIGHBORS IN NEED OFFERING
October 6th

The 2019 theme for the Neighbors in Need offering is "Love of Children." We will receive this offering on October 6th as part of our World Communion Sunday worship.

NIN is a special mission offering of the UCC that supports ministries of justice and compassion throughout the United States. A portion of this offering is used to fund a wide array of local and national justice initiatives, advocacy efforts, and direct service projects. This offering also supports the UCC's Council for American Indian Ministries (CAIM).

This year will mark a new initiative for our giving. Every dollar donated to the fund will be matched by the Church. The amount will be announced at a later date to allow everyone to be aware of the donation.
