Easter comes very early this year. Some of us may not even feel ready for that celebration to happen. Holy week we will celebrate in many different ways, and I encourage you to be a part of all that you are able to share in.
At the worship on that Sunday morning we will celebrate with palms and remember the triumphal entry of Christ into the city. Our children will be an integral part of that worship, as we recall the story and prepare for a week of remembrance.
We will gather in the Fellowship Hall on March 28th at 6:15 p.m. to share a Family Dinner. In much the same style as a Passover Seder meal, we will celebrate Holy Communion at the end of the meal. Do you know what happened each day of Holy Week? Come to share in this celebration as we remember the days leading up to the Crucifixion of our Christ.
We will have two opportunities to worship and remember on Good Friday this year. At noon at the Spencerport Wesleyan Church we can share together with friends and neighbors in a joint worship. Then at 7:00 in our chapel, we will share in a Tennebrae worship of remembrance of the grace that came to us that day.
There are a number of folks who look forward to the worship at the Gazebo on Easter Sunday morning each year. At 7:00 a.m. we will gather with folks from our community to celebrate the good news of Christ’s resurrection and our victory through him. Plan now to come to this time of joyous celebration as we share together.
Always a highlight of the year, this worship will be a glorious celebration of the resurrection of our Savior. Music is always an important part of this worship. Plan now to join us as we celebrate Christ’s victory over death.
